Like a mountaineer, this is a new terrain to climb. I neither
know how high nor how long the ascent will take, but I am up for it. I want to
reach the peak.
Like a camper, this is a jungle full of unknown creatures
dwelling inside. Creatures that I’ve never dealt before. But I am ready to
discover.
Like a seafarer in his ship, this is a new ocean to cross. No
matter how big the waves may be or how strong the storms come my way, I am
prepared for it.
Like a spelunker at the entrance of the cave, I have no idea
what lies ahead. But I am ready to enter and to find out.
Like a bag packer, this is a new nation to immerse myself
into. This may be a foreign culture with different personalities, different languages and different ways of living, I am willing to experience and to learn.
Like a warrior, there are lots of battles to fight. Whatever
size of the enemy’s battalion may be or whether they are armed with guns or
canyons, I will believe to win.
Like a conqueror, there are untouched territories within me to
unveil, to conquer and to own.
