Run of the Century

I am always a fan of running. I used to believe that running is the ultimate exercise to lose my flabs. And besides, it is super convenient as compared to other activities such as swimming (which requires a pool, or any body of water), and biking (which obviously requires a bike). In running, you just need a road, then, that's it! Up to now, it is my dream to master running.

However, running does not love me that much. Aside from my endurance which exhaust very easily, my usual problem when i run is that, my leg muscles (front and back muscles) aches, together with my foot. I am not sure if this is normal, but this happens everytime i run. My hypotheses are (1) my weight (heavy) creates a hard impact between my leg and the ground, (2) I don’t have good shoes that fit to my feet or that cushion the impact, and (3) there is a correct way to run, which I don’t follow.

But despite this, I plan to do a lot more running this year. I’ll join more marathons and jog more often.

And speaking of marathon, my friends and I are planning to join the Century Tuna Superbods Run 2010 on February 21, 2010. This time, i think, it's my chance to upgrade to 5 kilometers. Haha! Baby steps! OK?!

Derek Ramsey and other superbods model will be there. And now, I’m super excited! :)
And here’s what I discover pa. Aside from seeing Derek, I get a chance to be a Century Tuna Model! Wow! :)

Here is a very helpful article of Men’s Health (to me). The article discusses some tips on how to run efficiently and effectively.

Another clipping from Men's Health... This gives you a tip about what to eat to prepare your body for a long run.

Happy running guys! :)
