goat (breasts) for a night

Last Friday, Trinh took me to another authentic (ala connoisseur) Vietnam Food Hub which specializes on Hot Pot and GOAT.

Yes Goat!

The first time i ate goat meat is not a good experience, and since then i always thought of goat meats as "mapanghi".

But since nakakahiya-naman-kay-Trinh, pumayag na din ako!

The place is called Phở Bò - Gà 306.

We ordered two dishes:

The first dish involved grilling these neatly sliced and marinated meat (of goat), which according to Trinh were goat breasts (wow, thank you, it really helped a lot).

This was the set up...

With Vietnamese staple condiments...leaves!

And we started grilling!

and grilling...

The first finished product!

you have to wrap it in a rice paper together with leaves, okra and vermicelli.

Tadaaa!

Goat breast roll! ulk..

and i died...

...joke!

unexpectedly, it is GOOD! YUMMY! JUICY! TASTY! and not MAPANGHE!

and at the end i finished 7 rolls.

Then came the second dish!

Goat Hot Pot!

Yes still goat!

This involved boiling and stirring.

Mì...

(goat) meats and vegetables and mushrooms...

Goat Hot Pot!

and for me, it was a version of our Bulalo! the "sabaw" was very delicious!

And at the end, we were so full we did not talk inside the cab.
